| This solid cherry piece has many details; here are just a few. The upper section has arched raised panel doors, gooseneck crown moldings, and twist carved finials. When opened, blocked valences, carved shells, and double beaded shelves are all revealed. Highlighting the lower section are a figured lid, carved prospect door that opens to reveal blocked drawers , document drawers, secret drawers, bracket feet, and a carved fan applied to the base molding. In all there are thirty hand dovetailed drawers throughout the piece. Literally, a masterpiece. |
